Me too, but I wish she would listen to Dr. Makis and boldly clean house with regard to Alberta’s health care system which is still completely dominated by liberals put in by her predecessors.

Many call it "Pragmatism". They will sell their mothers and their children to maintain their perks and" illusions" of relevance. The voters don't matter at all!

I know she was working on taking out the WEF trash, so I would hope she will tackle that next.

Go Alberta!. Next step: make Alberta a sovereign state.

Being from Alberta, I've been optimistic yet skeptical of DS. But she continues to impress. I agree, baby steps - she seems to be playing smart. And the more sovereign the better!!!

But here’s the clincher, is achieving net zero really possible?

Expand full comment
author

No and she must know that- but it's probably way easier to kick the can down the road and just say she cant do it by 2030-35 but will commit to 2050 net zero BS in their own sovereign way - Its a decent and pretty smart move and she may plan some other things in her term in office as well to unravel the 2050 net zero promise thing. Baby steps - she seems to have a strategy. The Net Zero mafia has to be a tough one to go against... Net Zero is such a scam it's not even funny.

You can't use energy to refine CO2 out of the atmosphere, then transport it and pump it into old wells under pressure........And imagine that you are achieving a net benefit!

Germany has "Mandated", that all homes must install 'Heat Pumps' at the owners expense. However, lacking cheap natural gas and nuclear energy, Germany has had to resort to burning low-grade coal, in order to generate enough electricity......to power the heat pumps????

No; even killing off all carbon-based life won't do it, because the remains of the carbon-based Earth Life will still remain, even with all sunlight blocked off from space by robots 'building a barrier between???' ensuring that Earth will remain barren forever.

The perps'll have to have their 'AI' work out how to utterly destroy the planet itself, perhaps so that they themselves can die with the rest of 'messy biological Life' knowing that their goal will be be achieved and that the sun-blocking robots can float in space forever, safe from Life encounters apart from floating carbon-dust of Earth that may reach them one day.

Why is anyone listening to suicidally-murderous and unduly powerful crazy-people who have claimed to be working toward such pointlessly-destructive lunacy and are quoted/interviewed in the news sources they pretty much own/control?

And she is the only elected power holder I have seen tell the truth that the unjabbed were discriminated against unjustly. Keep it up Danielle!

Alberta made a historic gutsy & right decision. A true Canadien Patriot move! I applaud their provincial leadership and hope more U.S. states grow a pair & step up to make similar legislative moves. We need to put the Federal Govt in every nation back in chains!

Alberta, once you have established yourself as a sovereign state, then make sure to fill your provincial government only with people from the "Trucker Class"!. Kick the parasites out!

At last! Someone within a government worldwide is standing strong for the people who put them there. Thank you Danielle, let's see the ball rolling within governments around the globe now.

I really wish the best for Alberta and their government's plan! Ottawa's apparently insane agenda will be in full attack mode.

I suspect that the true aim of the "Clean Electricity Act" is really a fraud aimed at "Privatizing" all energy sources in Canada. (And probably all public infrastructure)

Think about this; "Renewable Energy" is a proven farce in terms of the scale of Canada's energy requirements! So, do we all suffer the privation of freezing in the dark and walking everywhere, while farming our food by hand, with third world methods? Or do we simply commit mass suicide till there are few enough people to be supported with "Clean Electricity"?

I don't think either is the whole story. I think we will be forced into a privation which would make everyone accept whatever the government wanted, at which point all our resources would be sold to "Corporate/Fascist" saviours who would settle our unplayable national Debt in return for feudal control. If this sounds crazy, think what has been done to Greece. The Greek corporations are still fat and happy, the people not so much?

Sorry, as usual, it's not on point. They argue 2050 is a more achievable date. They mention nothing of the unscientific justification for any target date. Danielle is no better than any other ignorant politician in that respect. They all need to go.

Joel; I do find you "On point". But, I don't think we can afford 'Purity' right now.

I estimate that less than 10% of Canadians have the awareness displayed on these message boards, or the courage displayed by the Smith Government in Alberta. We need a bit of breathing room so that the World can be properly amazed by the "Democracy" with which, Ottawa will hammer Albertans.

Expand full comment

I see your sentiment and mostly agree. Offering a compromise to a killer, is not ever going to work out well. But, you must understand that Smith feels a need to build her base and educate Albertans on the necessity of her policies.

The best people in other Provinces (and countries) can do, is to find ways to support Alberta. They are going to need it! Almost certainly Ebby and his BC fascists are going to do everything tn their power to 'keep BC down' and undermine Alberta.

Remember that Alberta can never exist independently, the most likely outcome would be annexation to the US, which is "Out of the frypan, and into the fire."

Best always to remain skeptical; time will tell.
