One of the things that I responded to was that you did not so much as mention that the Disengaging Entirely From the UN Debacle Act of 2023 even existed so you were directing people to take action that might signal something but won't solve anything without mentioning that there is something afoot with potential massive consequences to actually solve the basic threat to humanity's continuation as a species: exiting the UN.
Next, I did not say that we had to accomplish this task of massive response in 3 weeks. I have been pointing out that once the Pact for the Future is adopted, as it will be, on September 23 it will be more and more difficult and less and less likely that we will be able to take similar actions in future Congresses. Thus, I have said, it is imperative to pass this Act during the 118th Congress, which runs until the 119th Congress is sworn in next January.
