Very good points and strategies but remember I am trying to reach the reasonable ones. The treasonous ones don’t care what we think and won’t change their minds no matter what is said. If the majority of senators are not reasonable then we are lost.
I looked up the Senate rules and did an AI search and both came up empty regarding any requirement for senators to respond to public comments or requests. If introduced as a private bill, and sufficient support is proven, then it must be tabled for discussion in the Senate at some later date. That's it... otherwise senators are untouchable.
OK we are thinking.... The formal petition must be a ton of signatures right? and probably on a public website? There is a few groups and 12 days left to possibly raise awareness - Can you check the requirements because even if we are way too late it may be a legal block of sorts that could help unravel it later (because we object FORMALLY in time before Act is agreed on!)
Update... as of 10 pm today (Sept 5/24) only 13 of the original 97 emails sent last night have been opened (13.4%) and just 10 of the 86 follow-up emails have been opened (11.6%).
In total, 22.8% of Liberal appointed senators opened 1 of the 2 emails and 25% of Conservative appointed senators opened 1 of the 2 emails which reveals how concerned about public opinion they are. When I previously emailed 158 MPs on another subject 100% of the emails were opened. MPs are much more concerned with voter opinions most likely because their re-election depends upon it.

I am interested in the proof that the government has fully complied with all elements for the Act to be declared constitutional, and if all Articles have been fully assessed and addressed for these requirements, if so by whom?

Please let us know what happens with the treason email tomorrow - are they curious and open or will they freak out and avoid it? Actually curious - its probably a different approach in different cultures to actually move them to our position... We should do a study on what successfully moves an Administration to stop an Act like this based in international pressure to change domestic law! Very good points and strategies but remember I am trying to reach the reasonable ones. The treasonous ones don’t care what we think and won’t change their minds no matter what is said. If the majority of senators are not reasonable then we are lost.
I looked up the Senate rules and did an AI search and both came up empty regarding any requirement for senators to respond to public comments or requests. If introduced as a private bill, and sufficient support is proven, then it must be tabled for discussion in the Senate at some later date. That's it... otherwise senators are untouchable.
OK we are thinking.... The formal petition must be a ton of signatures right? and probably on a public website? There is a few groups and 12 days left to possibly raise awareness - Can you check the requirements because even if we are way too late it may be a legal block of sorts that could help unravel it later (because we object FORMALLY in time before Act is agreed on!)
Update... as of 10 pm today (Sept 5/24) only 13 of the original 97 emails sent last night have been opened (13.4%) and just 10 of the 86 follow-up emails have been opened (11.6%).
In total, 22.8% of Liberal appointed senators opened 1 of the 2 emails and 25% of Conservative appointed senators opened 1 of the 2 emails which reveals how concerned about public opinion they are. When I previously emailed 158 MPs on another subject 100% of the emails were opened. MPs are much more concerned with voter opinions most likely because their re-election depends upon it.
The lack of interest in public input by the senators is extremely discouraging.

Well how about harping on the ones who are interested and ask them to respond if they would please forward your messages and/or help to establish a press communication to explain how the Act will meet constitutionality requirements and to explain the Act to the public and invite public participation... If the senate was going to save us a majority of senators would have responded to my first email.
